I think there were too many books in this series. Unfortunately I have to say in the middle of the series it got too slow and, again,boring. I like how Melissa made Schuyler grew up by her experiences. But as I continue to read more, it started to get more interesting.
That’s not a problem tho.Īt first I found Blue Bloods was boring. Not so much resembalance but I found some similarities, such as Blue Blood with Moroi and Silver Blood with Strigoi. Somehow at one point this series reminds me of Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Compare to all Vampire theme books I’ve read so far, Blue Bloods actually kind of a little bit different because there were also a mix with other myth or supernatural being (not werewolf or shifter). I don’t want to give a spoiler so that’s a very little sneak peak for you.Īnyway, back to the review part. Like typical YA stories, there was a villain and only Schuyler could defeat him. The story in this series was focused on a ‘gloomy’ girl named Schuyler Van Alen whose life was changed when she knew that she was part of an elite community which turned out to be a vampire community a.k.a Blue Bloods. Therefore, I can’treview it one by one coz they all are mixed in my head. Finished all 9 of them in less than a week. I have to say that I read these books really fast. Now that I remember, I am going to review right away. I have thought to review it before but I was to excited doing the July bookstagram challenge and forgot about it – sorry not sorry Blue Bloods.
So, I finished this series at the end of June.
